These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Tanamaaro (including the website, mobile apps, and all associated services). By accessing or using the platform in any way, you agree to be legally bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

1. DEFINITIONS
1.1 "Platform" means the Tanamaaro website, applications, and all related services.
1.2 "User" or "You" means any individual who accesses, browses, registers on, or interacts with the Platform.
1.3 "Content" means any text, image, video, audio, meme, roast, confession, or other material posted, uploaded, or submitted by a User.

2. ELIGIBILITY & ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
2.1 Age Requirements
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Tanamaaro.
• Users aged 13–17 require verifiable parental or guardian consent.
• Tanamaaro reserves the right to verify age and terminate underage accounts without notice.
2.2 Account Rules
• One account per individual. Multiple accounts, bot accounts, or duplicate accounts are prohibited.
• You must not impersonate any person, entity, or Tanamaaro staff.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Any activity conducted through your account — whether by you or a third party — is your responsibility.

3. USER RESPONSIBILITY FOR CONTENT

IMPORTANT NOTICE — USER RESPONSIBILITY
Tanamaaro is a user-generated content platform. Tanamaaro does not create, edit, or endorse any Content posted by users. Each user is solely and exclusively responsible for the Content they post, share, or submit on the Platform.

By posting Content, you represent and warrant that:
(a) you own or have the necessary rights to post such Content;
(b) your Content does not violate any applicable laws or these Terms;
(c) your Content does not infringe the rights of any third party.

Tanamaaro expressly disclaims all liability for user-generated Content. Users may face legal consequences for unlawful or harmful Content independent of any action taken by Tanamaaro.

3.1 Permitted Content

3.2 Prohibited Content

ZERO TOLERANCE — The following content is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal and potential account termination:

• Hate speech targeting individuals or groups based on religion, caste, race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
• Targeted harassment, bullying, or personal attacks against identifiable individuals
• Doxxing — sharing anyone's private information (phone numbers, addresses, private images, financial details) without consent
• Sexual content, nudity, or explicit material of any kind
• Threats of violence, bodily harm, or death — even framed as humor
• Content encouraging, glorifying, or instructing self-harm or suicide
• Defamatory statements or false accusations designed to damage someone's reputation
• Content that facilitates or promotes illegal activity
• Spam, phishing, scams, malware, or malicious links
• Copyright-infringing material posted without permission or valid license
• Content that violates any applicable Indian law, including the IT Act 2000 and BNS (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita) provisions

4. CONTENT MODERATION & ENFORCEMENT
4.1 Tanamaaro's Right to Moderate
Tanamaaro reserves the right — but not the obligation — to monitor, review, remove, or restrict access to any Content at its sole discretion, without prior notice to the user. This includes Content that:
• Violates these Terms or Community Guidelines
• Is reported by other users or third parties
• Is flagged by automated systems
• Is otherwise deemed harmful, offensive, or inappropriate by Tanamaaro
4.2 Enforcement Actions
Depending on the nature and severity of a violation, Tanamaaro may take the following actions:
• Content Removal: Immediate deletion of offending posts without prior notice.
• Warning: Formal notice issued to the user's registered contact.
• Temporary Suspension: Account access restricted for a defined period.
• Permanent Ban: Irreversible account termination with no right of appeal.
• Legal Referral: Reporting of serious violations (e.g., illegal content, credible threats) to law enforcement authorities.

Tanamaaro's enforcement decisions are final. Users have no contractual right to appeal account suspension or content removal.
4.3 No Liability for Moderation Actions
Tanamaaro is not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from content removal, account suspension, or any other moderation action taken in good faith under these Terms.

5. PLATFORM RIGHTS & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
5.1 Tanamaaro's IP
All trademarks, logos, platform design, code, and branding associated with Tanamaaro are exclusively owned by us. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any Tanamaaro IP (Interictal property) without express written permission.
5.2 License to Your Content
You retain ownership of Content you post. However, by posting on Tanamaaro, you grant Tanamaaro a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to:
• Display and distribute your Content on the Platform
• Feature your Content on Tanamaaro's social media channels (Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
• Use your Content in promotional materials, events, and collaborations
This license survives account deletion for Content that has already been featured or shared publicly.
5.3 Copyright Compliance

6. EVENTS, COMPETITIONS & PRIZES
• All competition entries must comply with these Terms and Community Guidelines.
• You must provide accurate information at the time of submission.
• By submitting an entry, you consent to being featured if selected.
• One entry per person per event unless stated otherwise.
• Tanamaaro's selection and judging decisions are final and non-negotiable.
• Cash prizes are distributed via UPI/bank transfer. Winners must provide valid payment details within the notified deadline.
• Prizes are non-transferable. Winners are solely responsible for applicable taxes on prize winnings.

Disqualification grounds include: guideline violations, plagiarism, fake accounts, false information, or unsportsmanlike conduct.

7. ANONYMOUS POSTING
Tanamaaro permits anonymous posting. However, anonymity does not exempt users from these Terms or applicable law.
• All Community Guidelines apply equally to anonymous content.
• Tanamaaro retains metadata (IP address, device information) for safety and legal compliance purposes even for anonymous posts.
• User identity may be disclosed pursuant to a valid court order or legal obligation.
• Abuse of anonymity for harassment, hate speech, or illegal activity will result in a permanent ban and potential legal referral.

8. DISCLAIMERS & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
8.1 'As Is' Service
The Platform is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Your use of the Platform is entirely at your own risk.
8.2 User Content Disclaimer
Tanamaaro does not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for user-generated Content. Posts reflect the personal views of individual users only. Tanamaaro is not liable for any harm arising from reliance on user-generated Content.
8.3 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tanamaaro's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed ₹1,000 (Indian Rupees One Thousand) or the amount paid by you to Tanamaaro, whichever is lower. Tanamaaro is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any nature.

9. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tanamaaro and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
• Content you post or submit on the Platform
• Your use of or access to the Platform
• Your violation of these Terms or applicable law
• Your infringement of any third-party rights

10. ACCOUNT TERMINATION
Tanamaaro may suspend or terminate your account at any time — with or without prior notice — for violations of these Terms, illegal activity, or conduct that is harmful to the Platform or its community. No refund, appeal, or reinstatement is guaranteed.

You may delete your own account through the dedicated Delete Account flow inside the Platform. Content already featured or publicly shared may remain visible after deletion.

The following sections survive account termination: Sections 3.2 (Prohibited Content), 5 (IP), 8 (Disclaimers), 9 (Indemnification), 11 (Dispute Resolution), and 12 (General Provisions).

11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
• These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
• Before initiating legal proceedings, parties must attempt informal resolution by emailing legal@tanamaaro.com with a 30-day good-faith resolution period.
• Unresolved disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India). The seat of arbitration shall be Noida, India. The decision of the sole arbitrator shall be final.
• Users agree to resolve disputes individually. Class actions, collective actions, or representative proceedings are not permitted.

12. GENERAL PROVISIONS
• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Community Guidelines and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tanamaaro.
• Severability: If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
• No Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
• Assignment: Users may not assign your rights under these Terms. Tanamaaro may assign its rights in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
• Updates: We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
